Terms and conditions
The terms under which ZERA Bioanalytics accepts samples and issues analytical reports.
Last updated 2026-07-16
01Scope of service
ZERA Bioanalytics provides analysis of samples submitted by clients. The laboratory determines identity, quantity, purity, contamination, sterility or endotoxin content according to the analytical scope selected at the time of ordering.
ZERA does not supply, sell or distribute any substance. It does not advise on the use of any substance, and no report should be read as a recommendation to use, administer or consume anything.
02What a result describes
A report describes the sample that was received, as it was received. It does not describe any other unit, batch or shipment, and it cannot speak to material the laboratory has not analysed.
Results are bounded by the method applied and its detection limit. A substance not detected is a substance not detected by that method above that limit — it is not a statement that the substance is absent.
03Sample submission
Samples are accepted only against a sample reference issued by the laboratory. Samples arriving without a reference may not be attributable to a client and may be discarded.
The sender is responsible for compliance with the export, import and customs rules applicable to them. ZERA is not able to advise on the legality of sending any given material from any given jurisdiction.
04Ordering and pricing
Prices are stated per analysis in the schedule. Fixed-price analyses can be ordered directly. Analyses shown as from-pricing or requiring quotation are confirmed by the laboratory before work begins.
Turnaround times are estimates from the point at which a sample is logged against its reference, not from the point of order.
05Reports and verification
Each report is issued to the client who submitted the sample and carries a report number and a private verification key. Anyone holding both can confirm with ZERA that the record was issued.
The verification service confirms issuance only. It does not disclose measured values, client identity, or any other record. Sharing a verification key is the client's decision and their responsibility.
06Liability
The laboratory's liability is limited to the fee paid for the analysis in question. ZERA is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a report, including decisions about whether to use, distribute or dispose of any material.
PLACEHOLDER — the limitation above is drafting scaffolding and must be reviewed against the applicable jurisdiction before it is relied upon.
